Finding a buyer
Our experienced team combine their in-depth knowledge of the Industry with the latest computer technology, to efficiently match property purchasers. This is often achieved without the need for advertising and unwanted publicity.
Should advertising be required, then it is always discussed and agreed with the client in advance and, if part of our on-going promotion campaign, may even be free of charge.
Because of the efficiency of our services, we are able to keep our charges extremely competitive. For sales by private treaty, we do not usually make any charge in advance and act on a strictly 'no sale-no fee' basis. Commission is payable upon completion of the sale.
For sales by tender or auction, appropriate budgets will be agreed in advance. Discretion is our watchword. We do not advocate 'the sale board' approach and consider the maintenance of confidentiality one of our main obligations.
Progressing the sale
Once a purchaser has been found, our job is far from over and we maintain regular contact with all concerned until the sale is completed. This includes continuous liaison with solicitors, financiers, accountants, etc., to promote a smooth progression of the sale. The use of an agent helps to eliminate the possible friction between vendor and purchaser, ensuring that minor problems do not become major setbacks. We can also assist with the preparation of inventories and provide advice to accountants regarding apportionment figures and 1982 indexation valuations.
